How do I prepare?
"Discussion and Demonstration"
We will hold one rehearsal event for 'newbies'. The practice event is voluntary and not required and costs $20.

Here you and your contestant will learn everything you need to prepare a successful Beauty and Outfit of Choice competition.

Schedule of Events

Beauty Competition 10am- 12pm
Outfit of Choice 1pm-4pm
Crowning 5-7pm

There is no need to wear your pageant clothes to the event; there is time and space to prepare.

What does semi-glitz mean?
It means that makeup and hair are acceptable. This should be applied in moderation. Sparkling and Bedazzling are acceptable.
No tanning, waxing, flippers, suggestive dancing. Try to avoid too much hair and make-up.

What kind of dress should my contestant wear for her Beauty Competition?
A formal dress that fits her well and that she feels good in. For example, a flower girl, confirmation, junior prom… Yes, it can sparkle if you like. The judges are not looking for a specific type of dress.

How do I do Outfit of Choice?
This is any costumes wear with a routine you develop that expresses your child's personality within the theme of Silver Screen Stars. You are free to use the stage as you please. Yes you can sing, dance, play an instrument or simply model the outfit.

Do I need pageant experience?
No. This event is designed for newbies.

I can't do my child's hair and makeup myself.
Contact the director. We've got a few vendors that can help you.

I don't want to put makeup on my child.
Don't put make up on her.

What does my child get?
The Royal Treatment. We will have a wonderful day with memories that last for years. There are lots of fantastic prizes up for grabs. All contestants are guaranteed a trophy, a tiara and a swag bag.
